Aurelilune Hydraulic Oil

A bottle of the right hydraulic oil to top up or change in a log splitter — the oil is what transmits the force, and low or dirty oil means weak, jerky splitting and a hard life for the pump. The common grade for garden hydraulics; topped up or changed with the machine off and the ram retracted, per the manual. Keep a bottle for the season.
